Sustainability is complex, ambiguous, and vague at best. It’s not the one size fits all as it’s often portrayed to be. What’s more, the creative industries are at a crossroads and it’s future as we know it is uncertain. As clients look to reduce their own environmental footprints amidst stricter regulations and evolving consumer awareness, they are looking for collaborators who share their values and ambitions, yet often paying less than they did a decade ago; making it harder for us pay rent, eat well or manage our own wellbeing. So while switching your tools and products to ‘greener’ options is a start, a sustainable creative it doth not make.

With over twenty years of experience across as a creative freelancer working in fashion, beauty, advertising, film & TV, coupled with a qualification in sustainable business leadership, I offer a distinct approach to nurturing your creative talents. Having successfully transitioned my own career to a sustainable one (in every sense of the word), and supported others on their journey, I’d love to help you do the same.

Using my REGENASYST® methodology, we’ll use play to reimagine a vision of the world you want to work for an live in. As your mentor, I’ll be your guide, helping set and achieve your goals. What is a mentor, and how does it differ from a business coaching?

A mentor provides guidance and support, often based on personal experience, and focuses on overall personal and professional growth. Business coaching, on the other hand, is more structured and goal-oriented, targeting specific professional skills and achievements. Essentially, mentoring is about broader development, while coaching is about achieving targeted business objectives.

How are the sessions delivered, and how long are they?

The sessions are delivered remotely and are one hour each. You will need access to a stable Wifi connection, and a laptop or desktop computer in order to collaborate on Miro.

Who is this mentorship programme for?

This mentorship programme is designed for any creative who is passionate about their impact on the nature and society. It’s ideal for those feeling overwhelmed about contributing authentically while pursuing the work you love. This includes makeup artists, graphic designers, photographers, writers, musicians, filmmakers, fashion designers, visual artists, and more.

What outcomes can I expect from this mentorship?

You can expect to learn how to embed responsible practices into your work, tailored to your specific creative field and location. I’ll provide guidance, based on listening to your personal challenges, for aligning your career goals with your personal values. You’ll gain direction and focus for what’s important in your professional journey, and how that intersects with social and environmental impact, action and advocacy.

Collaboration is crucial; while I’ll guide, challenge and support you, your commitment and effort are key to achieving results. Together, we’ll work towards creating the future you aspire to both work for and live in.

Is there a minimum number of sessions I need to commit to?

Yes. There is a minimum commitment of four sessions, which can be spread out over a 1-2 month period to accommodate your freelance availability. After that, you can book on an ad-hoc basis.

Is there a focus on climate action?

Yes, in this mentorship, we will definitely consider the climate impact of your creative practice. However, it’s important to note that my focus extends beyond just climate issues. We’ll explore designing out waste in all forms, including resource and financial waste, and assess your wider impact on nature. I also emphasise the importance of understanding wider systems in which you operate, which includes your personal and financial health and wellbeing. Ergo, developing a sustainable practice!

What is your REGENASYST Methodology?

REGENASYST is a ten-step, self-paced programme designed for individual entrepreneurs and small businesses. It focuses on integrating regenerative practices into business operations. The methodology is grounded by four pillars: Progress over Perfection, Play, Flexibility, and Action. It involves deep reflection and strategic games to co-create tailored strategies. In this mentorship, I apply REGENASYST principles, using relevant games and activities to address your specific needs.

What is the cost structure for the mentorship sessions?

The mentorship programme consists of a minimum commitment of four sessions, priced at £384 (including VAT) if paid upfront, or four instalments of £100 each (including VAT) for a more flexible payment plan. After completing these sessions, you have the option to continue with additional sessions on a pay-as-you-go basis at £80 per session, including VAT. This pricing structure provides both upfront and flexible payment options to accommodate different financial needs.

How do I book a session?

Once you have signed up and paid, you will receive a welcome pack that will include a link to my booking calendar so you can schedule your sessions. You can choose if you want to book all 4 in one go, or just book them one by one.

What happens if I have booked a session but can’t make it because work has come in?

You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your session without notifying me. Simply reschedule through the booking confirmation. In extenuating circumstances that are less than 24 hours, just reach out and we can make a plan.
